    Product Description

    • Lasfit LED bulb Canbus adapters are designed to help the aftermarket LED bulbs function without Canbus errors, on most vehicles, with basic Canbus systems.
    • The Canbus system detects a low current draw associated with upgrades to LED bulbs, which cause problems like flickering, a dashboard error code, malfunctions, radio interference, etc.
    • These Canbus adapters cancel error messages or flickering on most vehicles, such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Ford, Chevrolet, Hyundai Chrysler, etc.
    • Plug and play design for 9006/ 9005/ 9012 LED bulbs. There’s a positive and negative mark for easy installation.

    Features
    Compatible Bulb Size: 9006/9005/9012
    Usage: LED Forward Lighting
    Warranty: 6 months
Package includes: 2 x Canbus Decoder Wiring Adapter

    Note:
    1. May not solve all compatible issues as tolerances of vehicle systems differ from one to another.
    2. We have two kinds of decoders: load resistor and Canbus adapter. If you are not sure which one to buy, please feel free to contact us for support.

    Waring:
During operation, resistors will get hot. This is a nature of resistor. It is hot enough to melt any plastic part they touch, including other wires. They need to be tap screwed or metal zip tied for sure.

Sometimes it is hard to find a proper place for resistors. Please check your car before purchase.

If you are not professional on installing and not confident to use this product, please do not purchase before doing research. Modification is troublesome. It is not bad to stay with factory halogen bulbs.

Mixed feelings so far. Headlights and switchback Fogs are out of this world awesome. Brights...not so much. Brights for Toyota 4runners use them as DRL's (daytime running lights) and they flicker. Lasfit does not mention this issue and I had to find out AFTER installation. They say the fix is a Canbus decoder. I have ordered the unit, but I see a review that it just makes you run brights at full power (very bright indeed). If this happens to me when I receive the decoder, they will be no use to me. Also, why not mention this when ordering? I could have ordered the decoder at the same time and not have to wait days to see if my issue is fixed. So there you have it a very, somewhat, satisfied customer...maybe...

      Hello Jonathan,

We're very sorry for the DRL issue and the frustrating experience you had.
For 4Runner, it is more complicated than other vehicles, most of the customers told that these lights can work well for high beams and daytime running lights. But there were a few customers who did experience the DRL issue of can't work properly due to the low voltage on DRL mode and got the canbus decoder to fix it, that's the reason why we didn't mention this DRL issue for a 4Runner on our website.
Thank you for your feedback, we will correct the fitment information on our website.

Please don't worry, we offer 45 days free return, if the decoder makes your vehicle run bright at full power, we will send you a pre-paid return label to return 9005 LED bulbs and decoders.
To make you could try the decoder ASAP, we will ship out your package right away and expedite the shipping via USPS priority mail.

We also followed up with you through our customer support email cs@lasfit.com.
If there is anything you'd like us to assist you with, we'll be glad to help you!

      Disappointed

Converted 2020 4 Runner to LED for high, low and fog lights. Extremely impressed with ease of installation and results. Had a flicker with DTRL's on the high beam bulb and this fixed the problem. However, DTRL's are so bright they can't be used. People flashing lights constantly. This negates using the AUTO lights function that switch DTRL's to low beam at dusk. If you can't use DTRL's because they blink there's no sense in purchasing this adapter. Everything now is manual and I run low beams during the day without issue and I'm not caught with no lights on in the dark. This issue should be made clear by Lasfit.

i bought their leds and when i installed them the drl flickered so i contacted customer service and they recommended this decoder to stop the flickering but when i installed the decoder it did not fix the flickering.

      Hello David,

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you have recently encountered.
For some vehicles, the high beam shares the same bulb with DRL, after installing the LEDs, the high beam will be fine, however, DRL can't work properly due to the low voltage on DRL mode.
This issue happens on all led bulbs in the market.
Most of the customers got the canbus decoder to fix it, but a few customers reported that the decoder can't fix the DRL issue.

Since we don't have a solution to fix it, we will send you a pre-paid return label, so you could return them for a refund.

Also, we have reached out to you through our customer support email cs@lasfit.com to follow up.
Feel free to email back to us if you need any further support.
